As part of our continuing expansion and investment in people, Amscreen is currently recruiting for the vacancy of a Software Developer within our Software Development team reporting to the CTO.
This role will focus on the development of new products and continuous improvement of the existing product portfolio. Working with the Engineering team and Project management teams, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of software solutions for our Amscreen products.
The role is full-time on site.

As part of our continuing investment in people, Amscreen is currently recruiting for the exciting vacancy of a Quality Manager which is part of the Manufacturing team reporting to the Manufacturing Director with the role purpose to ensure that the quality control systems continually develop in line with the needs of Amscreen to meet the needs of its stakeholders, inclusive of customer base. The role will ensure that the design intent is met by reviewing engineering and manufacturing specifications, monitoring materials for any defects and resolving quality issues with the supply base.
Additionally within the scope of responsibilities, you will also ensure that a knowledge of abilities is developed and retained at each of the core suppliers to ensure Amscreen’s design processes are fully aware of any constraints and will also compile, feedback and work with each supplier to address ongoing quality issues.
This role is full-time office based with one direct report currently as part of the team structure.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:
The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge base of ISO900 and 14000, including implementation and maintenance of either of both along with knowledge and experience of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Lean Manufacturing techniques. Six Sigma is desirable
You will possess excellent problem-solving skills and a working knowledge of standard Microsoft tools. With a high level of enthusiasm and strong desire to learn and improve, you will also be a strong team player with a flexible approach to work and willingness to travel as needed (with a full driving licence) required.
In terms of qualifications, a relevant Quality Management, Manufacturing or Engineering related degree is preferred or HND, BTEC Professional Level 5 Qualification, equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualification or equivalent Electronics Degree.
